Let’s work together

We have deep respect for the work therapists do and the trust people place in their therapeutic relationships. Our role as psychiatrists is to support that process—whether through careful, collaborative medication management or, when appropriate, by offering integrated therapy and medication in one place.

We recognize that every person is different, and so is every treatment team. Some people prefer to have their therapy and medication with the same provider, while others thrive in a collaborative care model with a separate therapist. We’re happy to support either approach and always prioritize what's best for the person.

Our Approach to Collaboration

When a person is referred to us by a therapist, we treat that relationship with care and respect. We understand how much trust you’ve built with them, and we never assume that a referral means they are looking to shift away from your care.

With the patient’s consent, we’re happy to stay in close communication, consult as needed, and work together to support shared goals.

What We Offer

  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management

  • Collaborative care with therapists

  • Integrated therapy and medication treatment, for people who prefer that model

We work primarily with adult women and focus on treating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and other life-disrupting challenges through a lens that honors each person’s individual story, strengths, and needs.

Thinking About Referring?

We may be a good fit for people who:

  • Are considering medication but feel nervous or want to explore their options carefully

  • Prefer a psychiatrist who is warm, collaborative, and psychodynamically trained

  • Would benefit from integrated psychiatric care—or are looking to add medication to their ongoing therapy work

If you’re unsure whether I’d be the right fit for a particular person, we’re happy to connect for a brief consult.

How to Reach Me

Therapists are welcome to email us directly at info@empowerHERpsychiatry.com to share relevant context or ask questions (with patient consent).

Patients should book directly through my website by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation call with our intake coordinator. You're welcome to share that link with them if they’re ready to connect.

We’re always happy to coordinate care when appropriate and tailor support based on what works best for each person and their existing therapeutic relationships.
